Masters is the highest standard of civilian driving qualification in the UK. It’s a rigorous, demanding assessment for experienced drivers who want to demonstrate exceptional skill, judgment, and knowledge of advanced driving technique.
Very few drivers achieve it — which makes it all the more meaningful. If you hold IAM Fellowship and have significant experience, contact us to discuss whether you’re ready to attempt Masters.
Who is it for?
Masters is open to IAM Fellowship holders with significant driving experience. It requires Fellowship as a prerequisite and is assessed by a senior IAM examiner to exacting standards.
What does it involve?
A formal assessment by a senior IAM examiner to the highest civilian driving standard in the UK. Widely regarded as one of the most demanding road qualifications available.
